Albert Exergian’s portfolio/ website is a beautiful compliment to his work. His work mostly contains very simple elements and overall clean design. The website features a white background with simple black text and lines. This helps the viewer to focus solely on the work and not be distracted by the layout.
This is a style I would definitely consider for my own portfolio site since a lot of my own work is very simplistic. Exergian has a lot of corporate and magazine designs that are featured on the professional site along with a link to his personal blog.
The blog then contains more of his light hearted and fun works. This is a good division of styles that allows him to be specific in the type of work he shows potential clients. This separation is also something I’d like to mimic in my own portfolio site.
