Stefan Sagmeister's website is a unique blend of live video with static images with a clean white background. The home page is what appears to be a full screen shot of live feed from his studio. Embedded in this footage are the links to the rest of his site. The home page effectively grabs your attention, but it is a stark contrast to a majority of the website.
The works page is a grid of clickable thumbnails on a white background. This is more attractive to me design wise than the home page. This type of set-up is something that I would consider for my own website but the home page wouldn’t.
The answers page is similar to the works in functionality and design and again differs greatly from the home page. It continues the slideshow navigation that is seen in the works page and also contains the subsections tabs at the top.
